We are now creating a single textile sourcing and production function to support the textile brands with joint structure and processes. Our brand portfolio has great opportunities within our current markets and as well new earning opportunities ahead of us. To support the potential growth for each brand now is the moment to reorganize our teams. 

The new organization consists of Material, Sourcing, Production, Capacity, QA/Compliance, and CSR. With this new organization and setup of special skills, we can increase the control and support of our supply chain, but also strengthen our brands to focus even more on the end-user. We are building an organization for the future, where we also will have our production and the trek has just begun.

ABOUT THE ROLE  

This position belongs to the material team and will be working in close cooperation with both our brands and the other centralized production and sourcing teams. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Responsible for Trims Management both Apparel & Hardware, development, lead-times, price negotiations and execution of packaging and trim material throughout to delivery. 
• Develop and maintain Trim and Packaging costs and vendor packaging matrix 
• Consolidate trim materials and packaging for the brands 
• Develop Key Partnerships with Trims and Packaging Suppliers  
• Lead and develop Trims coordinator 
• Work with Centralized teams on supplier capacities, lead-times and cross-sourcing opportunities 
• Work in tandem with Sustainability team and Material Director to secure the CSR & Material strategy 
• Close working relationship with Product Development in brands to secure quality, brand esthetics and Average Unit Cost 
• Trim material cost negotiations 
• Manage development, sample and bulk testing to meet Fenix standards and are compliant 
• Set up new Processess and structures for trims from a global perspective 
• Support Centralized teams with bulk production issues 
• Ensure trim development, approvals and bulk timelines are being adhered 
• Monitor and report on trim inventories staged at suppliers to ensure vendors are not building excess stock that creates risk  

This position will be based in our Solna office with the possibility of Hybrid working a few days a week. You will report directly to the Global Material Director.  

WHO YOU ARE  

Requirements:  

• Bachelor's Degree 
• Minimum 5+ years of fabric and material (technical) working experience 
• Strong technical skills in Trims and fabrics  
• Ability to build and support Global cross-functional partnerships 
• Costing and negotiations experience 
• Fabric, colour and Material testing/standard, Product development, and QA knowledge 
• Fluency in English oral and written
