In this role, you are responsible for supporting the growth ambitions of the company through planning and managing all brand, marketing and store concept execution related activities for the Marimekko global wholesale channel. This position reports to the global marketing director situated in Helsinki, Finland - yet works in tight cooperation with the global wholesale team. Location of this position is negotiable, preferably Helsinki or Stockholm. The position requires frequent travel to the Marimekko HQ in Helsinki.

Requirements of the role:
* Planning, managing and coordinating wholesale related marketing projects and campaigns
* Overall responsibility for managing and executing the global marketing plan, POS material concepts and toolbox in the wholesale channel globally
* Creating and planning content for wholesale sell-in tools like online portal, brochures and concept presentations
' Support in executing the relevant shop-in-shop concepts together with the concept manager and the sales team
* Ensuring the fluent omnichannel cooperation with global marketing, global wholesale, visual merchandising, PR and merchandising to reach the objectives in the global wholesale marketing activities
* Monitoring and reporting on effectiveness of marketing activities in the wholesale channel according to global guidelines
* Ensuring that all wholesale projects related to marketing are on brand, speaking to the target customers and drive both the long term and short term sales objectives of the company

Competencies needed in this position:
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience in the global wholesale arena
* Understanding how to develop and manage an iconic lifestyle brand in global and omnichannel context
* Very good understanding of the global wholesale business customers and environment, standards, procedures and future development within the ready-to-wear, home and bags and accessories sectors
* Understanding how a brand is best presented, built and driven in the competitive global wholesale environment to drive end-consumer attention and sales
* Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English - both written and verbal
* Ability to communicate ideas visually with suitable tools (e.g. Power Point, Photoshop, InDesign)
* Creative and innovative thinker with strong execution power and positive can-do-attitude
